Regulatory Specialist - Global Chemical Notifications - Barcelona or Spain
Our client is a leading organisation within their field, a brand name itself and being involved in some of the most commonly purchased consumer products on the market. Working within a large and global product safety group, your role as a Regulatory Expert is to drive through departmental change and work in line with global notifications under chemicals
Your primary responsibility sits within Global chemical notifications
As a Regulatory Expert you will be responsible for leading the chemical notification program and contribute to the ingredient company strategy by becoming a regulatory expert on fragrance ingredients
Regulatory submissions will be made on a worldwide basis.
It also includes follow up of the regulatory submissions and any potential discussions and negotiations with the authorities, internal clients and managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educated to degree or Post Grad level ideally as a Toxicologist - chemistry is fine.
Knowledge and experience of relevant regulations such as REACH, CLP, GHS and worldwide chemical notifications (including Australia, China, Japan, USA) for substances and preparations would be an ideal BUT NOT A CORE REQUIREMENT
An advantage to have experience of using existing exposure models (AISE, ECETOC TRA, Consexpo).
Familiar with risk assessment methodologies in relation to skin or respiratory
