The School of Clinical Sciences has a vacancy for a Senior Research Associate in Molecular Neuroscience, working in the Dorothy Hodgkin Building.

Applications are invited for this post to undertake a BBSRC-funded project on the role of stress-induced glucocorticoid hormones in learning and memory processes. The project will investigate the molecular mechanisms in the brain underpinning spatial memory formation in behavioural paradigms like the Morris water maze test. The project will make use of state-of-the-art epigenetic, next-generation sequencing and other molecular techniques.
