Pricing & Market Access Manager UK

I have been engaged by one of the Top 10 pharmaceutical companies to hire Pricing & Market Access Manager for the UK Affiliate of the company. You will have responsibilities across market access in the UK and will gain and deepen your market access experience in multiple areas allowing you to advance your career.

Firstly you will need to be a company contact for stakeholders in the UK healthcare market so you can answer their questions and help overcome any objections to granting market access, which is key experience for career advancement. With the intelligence you gain from speaking with stakeholders you will influence the HTA strategy for the UK and help to lead the HTA Submissions to NICE, SMC and AWMSG. You also need to monitor the changing market access environment in the UK with the NHS and highlight key changes so they can be incorporated in the market access strategy.

You will also work cross-functionally with members of the field market access team by designing and creating the UK specific value propositions, which you will then train the field market access team on to make them most effective. In order to create the most effective value message you need to know about the evidence requirements for value messages and HTA submissions, and if needed highlight the need for a particular study (HEOR, PRO, RWE), which is good experience to gain. Lastly you will carry out research to inform the UK Pricing of drugs to inform the UK pricing strategy.

The company has drugs in multiple therapy areas and as a key member of the UK market access team you can gain experience with these drugs giving you broad market access experience.

You need to have experience of market access in the UK and be familiar / worked on UK HTA submissions, Ideally to NICE, SMC and AWMSG. You also need to be familiar pricing & market access strategy.
