Scientific Nomenclature, within Global Scientific and Medical Publications, is seeking a summer intern with strong academic performance, excellent communications skills, and a passion for healthcare and technology.

This opportunity will provide an exciting atmosphere to learn and contribute in a cross-divisional environment. Under the supervision of the Scientific Nomenclature Lead:

- Intern will complete specific projects pertaining to system maintenance, webpage creation, and management of data used in the drug development process.

- Internship will provide hands-on work experience coupled with personal and professional development opportunities.

- Strong background in chemistry or biochemistry is desired.

- Experience with HTML is highly beneficial, but not required.



- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or pharmaceutical science

- GPA of 3.0 or higher


- Must have completed at least one year of organic chemistry

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Detail oriented and able to work independently to drive tasks to completion

- Must be available for full-time employment for 9-12 weeks during the months of June-August


- Demonstrated education and/or experience with chemical nomenclature (IUPAC or CAS)

- Computer programming skills, knowledge of Oracle databases
