Admissions Compliance Officer
The Admissions Compliance Officer will provide admissions advice and support to the central admissions team, the decentralised postgraduate admissions teams, academic and non-academic colleagues based upon a combination of practical experience and/or professional knowledge of admissions procedures and compliance which surrounds this. Knowledge will typically have been gained through considerable relevant work experience.
The Admissions Compliance Officer will coordinate the annual admissions statements process for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and will work closely with the Senior Selectors to ensure consistent practice across the centralised undergraduate admissions teams. The role holder will also provide cover in the absence of a Senior Selector ensuring continuity of line management and day to day admissions team’s performance.
The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive relevant work experience, demonstrating practical and theoretical knowledge of quality assurance and compliance and have knowledge and experience of university admissions. The successful role holder will also have strong written communications skills including the ability to draft policy, procedures and operating instructions, adapting style and content to different audiences.
This new post will report to either, or both, Deputy Head of Admissions Undergraduate and Postgraduate and will work alongside the existing Admissions Compliance Officers who, between them, will cover all elements of the role, providing back up for each other to continuously offer a high level of service to the University.
