Coordinator: Material Development (post level 11/10)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the setting of facilitator guides, assessment material (tests and semester examinations) and study material updates.
  • Handle facilitator and moderator enquiries relating to study material and assessments.
  • Appoint academic coordinators and moderators for 350+ NPDE/ACE/ACT modules in collaboration with SC Formal Programmes.
  • Control quality assurance process for tutor and student feedback on material and programme delivery and make available to Quality Assurance office.
  • Source, identify and appoint Facilitators, Learning Developers and Peer Developers for Off-campus centres.
  • Perform general administrative and filing responsibilities.

  • Inherent requirements:

  • B.Ed. degree or equivalent qualification in Education (e.g.B-degree +PGCE).
  • Three (3) years relevant experience.

  • Required competencies:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to function with ease in the University’s richly diverse working environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle tasks promptly and accurately.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Organisational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling confidential material. Decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Continuously updating and using relevant knowledge

  • Recommendations:

    • Work experience with PeopleSoft
