Job Details

The University of Bristol is looking to appoint a Project for the 3-year Arts and Humanities Research Council-funded project, ‘The Eastmancolor Revolution and British Cinema, 1955-85’. The project is based across the University of Bristol and the University of East Anglia. The project’s PI is Prof. Sarah Street (Bristol) and the Co-I is Dr Keith Johnston (UEA); there are two post-doctoral researchers. The project also involves three external partners – The British Film Institute, Studio Canal and the UK Colour Group.

Working closely with the PI, Co-I and post-doctoral researchers, the post-holder will be responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the project, providing general administrative support for the project’s research programme and internal and external communications. The Administrator will work closely with the PI to assist with the organisation and promotion of the project, organise the Bristol-based project team members’ travel, and organise associated administration of workshops, meetings and a conference.

The post-holder will work on the role for 1 day a week (a total 132 hours over the lifetime of the project). 

Grade F (22,249-25,023 pro rata)
