IT Services (ITS), at the University of Auckland is responsible for the delivery of reliable and secure central applications, infrastructure and services which support the core functions (Teaching, Learning, Research and enhancing the student experience) for staff, students and the community of the University of Auckland.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Service Operations, you will be responsible for a range of system administration responsibilities associated with enterprise infrastructure, applications and security-related activities. This will include triage and remotely resolving incidents and requests.
Success is measured on the customers experience so your written and verbal communication skills will be outstanding. A strong service motivation is key, you need to be motivated to help others and treat people the way you like to be treated.
Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate they are able to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
