Job Details
We are looking for a professional and proactive individual to support teaching, research and general activities within the laboratories which form the Institute of Design, Robotics and Optimisation. You will work closely with technicians, students and academic staff to support our teaching and research activities, primarily within the Robotics, Control and Dynamics and Strength of Materials Laboratories. Acting as a point of expertise with regards to the capability and operation of the state-of-the art robotic facility machines, you will provide highly specialised advice and safety guidance on experimental technique and technical issues, including proposing and implementing solutions to complex mechanical fabrication problems, and providing teaching support for practical classes.
