As an active team member you will assist in the day-to-day running of the Helpdesk, undertaking administrative duties and supporting the management teams, colleagues across the University, and external customers.
You will have experience of working in a busy customer service environment, and of dealing with customers by telephone, email (Microsoft Outlook), and face to face. It is essential that you hold an English Language GCSE at Grade C or above, or an equivalent qualification. You will need good organisation skills, including attention to detail, the ability to work co-operatively in a team and on your own initiative, and the ability to analyse data and prepare reports.
Our Facilities Directorate Support team operates between the hours of 8am and 5pm, you will work on a weekly rota system to cover these hours.
