Job Details
As Sales Manager DACH you will be the key driver in developing the German market for Elastomers, providing sales guidance and direction to your 3 man team, developing new accounts in Switzerland and Austria and formulating strategic sales plans to expand the market share over the next 2-3 years allowing you to manage growth in your department in the way that you see best.
You will be joining a company that manufacture their own specialty raw materials products for rubber compounding and extrusion who have an alternative business culture due to their Japanese origins, which gives them a more relaxed and customer oriented environment which allows you to take more considered decisions and develop a longer term sales strategy rather than looking for short term quick fix solutions, ensuring you get the results that matter in the long run.
My client have their European headquarters in the Düsseldorf area, where they manufacture a range of elastomers (NBR, MNBR, SBR etc.) for a the domestic German market and also export across Europe with support from their subsidiaries in France, Italy, Czech Republic, UK and Netherlands, allowing them to cover the key markets in the region. Having recently hired a highly experienced HR Director, they are going through a phase of positive transformational change which has allowed them to standardise employee benefits, create better management structures and increase communication throughout the company from top to bottom, meaning you will be joining at a very good time.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years industry experience in Sales
- Technical background as a Chemist with knowledge of developing elastomers for rubbers
- Experience managing teams of at least 3 people
- Fluent German and a good level of English speaking
