The University’s ICT division, iSolutions, is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Assistant Director for ICT Transformation.
The post holder will be required to strategically lead in the development and delivery of the University’s ICT transformation objectives, including the development of all business cases and integrated programme plans for our future. To enable the successful implementation of the University’s strategic ICT initiatives and to achieve clearly defined transformation outcomes in line with the University’s strategic objectives.
Qualified to postgraduate level or holding suitable professional qualifications you will have strong managerial skills and the ability to operate at the most senior levels in the University. In addition, you will need exceptional organisational, people and stakeholder management skills. You will enjoy operating as a strategic leader and contributing significantly to the development of new and existing ICT services and processes
This key and exciting senior post will work closely with the CIO, the Director iSolutions and along with the other Assistant Directors, will form the Senior Management Team for iSolutions to lead, develop and manage the ICT Department for the University.
iSolutions is one of the largest departments within the University’s Professional Services Group (staff numbers 300) and provides all aspects of ICT to support all University activities including Learning and Teaching, Research and University Administration whilst supporting a diverse user community of over 35,000 University staff and students. Largely based at 1 Guildhall Square, in the centre of Southampton in modern office accommodation which benefits from excellent links via rail and road.

Salary will be competitive (including Market Supplement).
