Do you have proven skills as a teacher of biology?  Are you able to help students to apply their learning to healthcare settings?  Do you have a strong record of working with learners from diverse backgrounds?

We are looking to appoint a part-time tutor to be responsible for delivery of the second part of two, year-long modules in human biology.
The Lifelong Learning Centre is concerned with widening participation at the University of Leeds especially in relation to mature learners.  As part of this, the Centre offers a Foundation Degree in Healthcare for Assistant Practitioners which is designed for clinical support workers who are part of the non-registered workforce delivering health and social care in a range of settings.  Integration between academic and professional learning is a key feature of the programme as is support for participants in the acquisition of skills for success in higher education.
