Account Manager - Pharmaceuticals & Automation Diagnostics

Come from Pharmaceutical or Diagnostic sales background? Worked previously selling pharmaceuticals or diagnostic services to Pharmacies and Hospitals in Germany? Look no further!

The market leading pharmaceutical automation manufacturer, specialising in software and hardware for blister packaging and dispensing drug machines used in pharmacies and hospitals, is looking for experienced Account Sales Manager for Germany.

It is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong pharma sales background to get into the industry or more experienced sales professional to join the leading company and sell high-end equipment and services. What is more, you will be managing key accounts from your home-based office and when travelling - face to face, therefore, candidates looking to relocate are welcome.

The company has recently undergone restructuring which brought very positive results and increased sales - they will be selling direct in DACH region and moving away from distribution. Therefore, there will be career development opportunities to more senior level roles.

The main tasks will be:

  • Support (through telephone or customer visits in Germany - ideally North Rhine Westphalia, East Germany or North - Hamburg area)
  • Providing advice to existing key accounts
  • Being the customer contact for support + budgeting
  • Creating sales presentations and dealing with key accounts
  • Developing and analysing of area strategies

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in pharmaceutical sales, ideally service/diagnostic sales
  • Selling direct to pharmacies (OTC background or speciality)
  • Flexibility to relocate to be in the Northern part of Germany or at least to travel there
  • Pharmareferent qualification ideally, but not a must
  • English and German languages
