Salary:  £37,075 to £46,924

The Wessex Institute is part of the University of Southampton (ranked top 1% in the world). Based at the NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC) we manage and maximise the impact of ground-breaking medical research programmes, influencing the future of healthcare delivery across the UK and medicine worldwide.

Due to retirement, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Governance Manager to support our CEO, contribute to overall business planning and oversee corporate governance. Duties include:

  • Business planning to meet statutory and contractual requirements
  • Developing and maintaining document control processes
  • Handling complaints management
  • Maintaining company risk registers
  • Strategic input into corporate meetings and events.
  • Leading, managing and co-ordinating a range of projects
  • Line managing the Executive Assistant


To be successful in this role you will need to have significant experience in all of the above areas.
