Group Services Coordinator

The Faculty of Business and Economics seeks a positive and efficient Group Services Coordinator with a focus on stakeholder service, to join our Group Services team. You will provide executive support to one or more academic heads and general administrative support for staff and students within departments as assigned by the Group Services Manager and Team Leader, to support teaching and research activities and assist with academic processes.

You will undertake a range of activities including:

• executive support of Academic Heads

• finance and HR activities

• assisting with department-specific events and production of department publications

• coordinating academic travel, visitor arrangements, and managing scholarships and prizes.

• undertaking specialist portfolios & responsibilities as assigned by the Group Services Manager

You will need excellent time- and self-management skills, and preferably knowledge of PeopleSoft HR and Finance systems as well as an understanding of University processes. You will share an office with other Group Services staff and there is an emphasis on teamwork and flexibility to accomplish tasks and provide a high level of service.

This position is a fulltime permanent role and based on the City Campus.
