Job Details
An innovative medical device company based just north of Zurich are currently searching for a R&D Project Manager to join them on the innovation of a new technology. The company have sites based all around the world leading to great opportunities to develop your skills and also your career.
As a R&D Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing complex R&D projects with a team of highly qualified researchers and developers.
- Driving innovation, play a critical role in product inception and definition. Understand customer needs; drive VOC (Voice of the Customer) together with product managers; prepare product proposals and business cases and lead gate-review meetings.
- Lead projects from concept to delivery. Ensure alignment across different R&D functions, across departments (R&D, Marketing, Operations).and with the senior leadership team
Play a key role in (transactional) process improvements.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Several years of experience in product development as a developer and as a project manager of multidisciplinary projects (e.g. electronics, mechanics, software) in a technology industry
- Strong interest in project management and process improvement
- Proven track record in managing new product development projects from concept phase through industrialization and production
