A Research associate position is available in the laboratory of Professor Mohamed Bentires-Alj at the Department of Biomedicine (DBM) in Basel, Switzerland.

Our lab focuses on the molecular mechanisms controlling normal and neoplastic breast stem cells, metastasis and resistance to therapy, and on personalized medicine: https://bentireslab.org/

The tasks include work on mouse models of cancer, 3D cultures, imaging, human samples, and lab organization.

The successful candidate should be highly motivated, have a master or a PhD, and an interest in molecular and cellular mechanisms of breast cancer and metastasis.

Applicants must have a strong experience in mouse models of cancer. Expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell culture is a plus. Fluency in English is required.
