Job Details
My client, an international leading firm that manufactures innovative medical ,machines supplied to hospitals around the world, are looking for a Usability Specialist to join their small team within the R+D function. Since this company is investing a lot of money in the development of new products and with notified bodies cracking down on regulatory requirements when it comes to usability, they would like to establish a function in this field.
This role would be working very closely with software developers and what this person would be doing is defining specifications for the developers based on the requirements of the end user or customer. Since this company is offering tailored solutions and therefore tailored usability, the candidate would be working mainly on the graphical user specifications.
So far there is only one person working in this field so there is massive potential in the future for any potential future leaders who are looking to take the next step. Furthermore you would be joining a firm who not only have a great product portfolio but who are also investing a lot in new innovative devices for the future.
Successful candidates would have the following:
- Strong experience in usability within medical devices / e-commerce or design experience
- Good understanding of IEC62366
- Human Factor Engineering experience would be advantageous
- Fluent in German and English
