Maximize the company’s commercial success in growing the TIBCO Spotfire platform customer base by formulating business strategies, working with the R&D and Product Management organizations to develop world-class solutions. Collaboration with field sales and services, as well as marketing teams is critical to evaluating the best mechanisms for execution on those strategies. Successfully drive go-to market strategy for the Analytics business focusing on R&D as well as manufacturing, commercial, and operational areas within the PKI customer base. Liaise with TIBCO on all Spotfire platform-related aspects, such as product & cloud strategy, roadmap, release management, QA of PKI related products, product messaging, and customer enhancement requests.
Responsibilities:Effectively map the competitive landscape and develop competitive strategies
Advise R&D to develop an effective Analytics product portfolio based on the TIBCO Spotfire platform.
Up to 50% travel may be required
Responsibilities:
- Life Science Manufacturing analytics practice lead
- Formulate and drive the business plan for driving sales of manufacturing analytics solutions in PKI key accounts
- Support sales teams in driving client opportunities in manufacturing and related markets.
- Evangelize customers and prospects regarding the value of pervasive business analytics across the industry value chain. Ensure PerkinElmer continues to be the thought-leader in Analytics
- Identify market needs through market research supported by visits to existing & prospective customers
- Characterize the external market by performing:
- Customer segmentation analysis: assessment of the customer profile within the responsible region by industry, size, application focus, and solution requirements
- Market Problems: determination of business problems in the target market that are or could be met within the scope of the business
- Pipeline analysis: characterization and prioritization of the needs of prospective customers with the current sales pipeline
