Financial Controller - Commercial Controller - New Business Unit - Life Sciences
My client is looking for a Financial/Commercial Controller to take responsibility for a New Business Unit in the UK. A successful multinational organization with a long pedigree in Life Science Technology, the company are aiming to expand the business unit rapidly in the UK within one of the most promising future growth sectors of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries.
Within this role, you will take overall responsibility for the financial health of the business unit, managing a balance sheet totally separated from the main company. In your role as Financial Controller you will manage the finances of the business unit, and report to the company Head of Finance.
In your commercial capacity you will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Managers for the UK, set them financial targets for development of new business, and take a strategic approach to growing the organization.
Reporting to the UK General Manager, you will identify and work with new accounts from an office in central London, and benefit, as the business grows, from an unusually generous bonus scheme.
