The role

The successful appointee will assist with the streamlining of existing bioinformatics pipelines, build new pipelines under direction, and perform configuration management processes on Linux servers and software stacks employed by the Stemformatics team.

The person

Applicants should possess relevant qualifications and a substantial working knowledge of Linux programming (Bash shell scripting and other languages such as Python, general software configuration, compilation and dependency management) as well as some basic Linux systems administration.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for 12 months at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $79,498 - $86,950 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $93,013 - $101,732 p.a.).
