Job Details

Details

Dr Parveen Ali and Dr Sharron Hinchliff invite proposals for research projects that explore gender based violence, including sexual assault, in older adults. Because this is an emerging area of research within nursing and allied-health care, we are leaving it open to the applicant to define the specific research area and develop their research question. However, we expect that the proposed project will explore the intersections of age and gender, along with other social categories as appropriate including disability, socio-economic status, sexual/gender identity, race/ethnic background. Proposals should be informed by a qualitative or mixed methods study design and have implications for health care practice.

Supervisors: Dr Sharron Hinchliff & Dr Parveen Ali
