Job Details

We are seeking to appoint a talented health economics or health services researcher with an interest in priority setting methods, economic evaluation, decision making, and evidence-based policy making. The appointed person will be interested in working on applied health research topics in the NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care in the West (NIHR CLAHRC West http://clahrc-west.nihr.ac.uk). The post will be available until December 31st 2018 in the first instance. The researcher will work on a small number of projects evaluating the cost-effectiveness of health technologies and health service delivery and exploring healthcare decision-makers' use of evidence to inform priorities and commission healthcare services for their local population. The post will suit researchers who want to develop their careers by undertaking a number of different projects in the area of efficient and optimal care.

This is a full time (1.0 FTE) appointment, with the option to work part-time, and is available to be taken up as soon as possible.
