Assistant Professor (HS Clin, Clin X, Adjunct, In-Res) - Medicine - Gastroenterology

Faculty Position in Gastroenterology. The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division of Gastroenterology is actively recruiting a full time physician scientist at the Assistant Professor level.

Candidates must have an MD and clinical training including completion of an accredited Hepatology fellowship with UNOS certification. Clinical responsibilities will include Hepatology, Transplant Hepatology and endoscopy. Research interest and expertise should be in the area of clinical or laboratory based research in liver diseases. Position will be approximately 60% clinical activity and 40% research.

The appointment will be at Assistant Professor rank. Series will be determined based on candidate's experience and qualifications. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
