Principal Ecologist - Manchester

As one of the leading consultancies in Japanese Knotweed, my client is looking for an experienced Senior Ecologist to grow their team and expand into new areas of the ecology market. You can play a key part in expanding this area of the business and even building a team around the needs of your clients.

The requirements for this position are as follows:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Ecologist
• A European Protected Species License
• Relevant Business Development skills and experience
• Full UK drivers License
• Full CIEEM membership

Located just outside of Manchester, you'll be in the heart of the best field work the North of the UK has to offer. Not only does this cut down a huge amount of time traveling to and from sites, it's also a prime opportunity to win new work and build a strong client base just a few miles from the office.

As well as a chance to work with fellow ecologist, you'll also be given the opportunity to work alongside other environmental specialists from your time spent working for my client. As a result of having a great reach across the environmental sector, my client has been able to take on an excellent range of projects that many other consultancies simply can't take on.
