This Wellcome Trust-funded post provides an opportunity to join a lab using a range of electrophysiological, computational, behavioural, pharmacological and optogenetic techniques to perform systems-level analysis of the neural basis of cognition and neuropsychiatric disease.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in a neuroscience-related discipline (Awarded or imminent). Experience of multi-channel neurophysiological recordings and computational modelling/analyses is preferable. The project is centred on study of limbic-cortical interactions in rodent models, but candidates will be encouraged to incorporate their own research experience and ideas. Candidates with expertise in optogenetics are particularly encouraged to apply.
