Job Details
The Accounting and MIS Department is seeking qualified applicants for a Management Information Systems (MIS) Instructor position, beginning September 2018. Responsibilities include effectively delivering instruction in a variety of undergraduate management information systems (MIS) courses, evaluating student learning, fulfilling professional and university service responsibilities, advising students, and complying with School, College, and University regulations. Instructors normally teach five 3-credit courses (15 hours) per semester. The minimum education requirement for the position is a master’s degree in MIS or a closely related area. University teaching experience is required and significant related professional experience is desired. The State of Kuwait does not recognize degrees from on-line universities.
GUST is an English language, American-style University. Salaries are AACSB competitive. Kuwait has no taxes. The University provides a housing allowance, public and private health insurance, education benefits for children, annual home leave and an end of service gratuity in lieu of retirement.
