R&D Director in Plasturgy

My client is looking for a R&D Director to take over the position of someone who is going to be retired soon. You will be in charge of the Research and Development of new products and also of the control of their quality. Your experience in plastic transformation will enable you to easily adapt in this fast-growing SME within the compounds market in France and abroad. You will be responsible for a team of around 8 people and directly report to the Director of the company, which will enable you to be quick and efficient.

I am looking for someone with:

• A Master's Degree or a PhD in polymers Chemistry
• More than 5 years experience in formulation of plastic polymers in the industry
• A significant experience in managing a R&D team
• You have ideally already worked for a Petrochemical company
