The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences' offers programs in Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Pathology. We welcome around 500 new students each year into our undergraduate and postgraduate offerings. Candidates are sought for a teaching focussed appointment in Occupational Therapy. We are a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate occupational therapy education in Queensland. The role

The role of Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Occupational Therapy will engage in teaching into undergraduate and graduate entry programs using recent professional practice in the area of Occupational Therapy theory and practice and have experience in paediatric or adult physical Occupational Therapy clinical practice using recent professional practice.  The successful appointee will also perform administrative functions and other activities associated with the School.

The person

Candidates should possess a qualification in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. You will hold a PhD and have expert knowledge in Occupational Therapy theory and practice and have experience in paediatric or psychosocial Occupational Therapy clinical practice.

Remuneration

This is a part time (0.4 - 0.6FTE), fixed term appointment for 12 months at Academic Level A or Academic Level B. The remuneration package for an Academic Level A will be in the range $62,653 - $84,985 p.a (FTE) plus superannuation contributions of 9.5% (total package will be in the range $68,606 - $93,059 p.a (FTE)). The remuneration package for Academic Level B will be in the range $89,458 - $106,232 p.a (FTE) plus superannuation contributions of 9.5% (total package $97,957- $116,324 p.a (FTE)). Additional part time (0.4 - 0.6 FTE), fixed term Academic Level A and Academic Level B opportunities may be available and will be discussed with potentially successful candidates.
