Regulatory Affairs Director-Implement Global Strategy-IVD-Basel, Switzerland-180K CHF + bonus package

A fantastic director level role is available to top experts and managers in the IVD and medical device industry to develop and implement global strategy. NonStop Medical Devices are currently working with a world leading diagnostic company to place their new director of regulatory affairs. A role which will give you the opportunity to make a leading impact of the RA department and manage a team of up to 20 regulatory professionals. Our client product innovative and market leading IVD products. Their global presence and growing investment fund for their innovation and products, provides you with the perfect company to develop your knowledge and expertise within the diagnostic field. As a key decision maker you will be part of the exciting speculative changes that are occurring with the IVD directive; thus allowing you to be at the forefront of this change.

As the regulatory affairs director in this role your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Managing a team of around 5 direct reports; and over 20 indirect reports on an international scale.
  • Implementing strategy for regulatory affairs on an international scale, inclusive of the FDA and the emerging markets.
  • Work with cross-function teams to ensure a smooth process of success for products from research through to RA/QA.

The ideal candidate we would like to speak to for our first short list will have the following:

  • Excellent expertise within regulatory affairs on a global scale, with specific experience in the medical device and IVD product area.
  • You will have some leadership skills where you have led teams or managed global projects.
  • Understand the strategic requirements of leading a regulatory team on a global scale.
  • available to travel.
  • Fluency in English is required for this role. If you are fluent in either French or German this could be a plus.
