Senior Residence Life Officer
Ref: RR17
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences/Student Development with the emphasis on Social Work background
- 5 years minimum experience in specialised developmental programs/student development in Higher Education
Additional requirements

- Designing Educational Programs
- Facilitation of workshops
- Research interest, Monitoring/Assessment/Evaluation tools
Summary of duties
- Coordinate and facilitate Residence Orientation program for the first year residence students
- Monitor and assess academic performance and progress of first year residence students
- Coordinate and facilitate a voter education program in preparation for elections
- Recruit, select, interview and appoint Residence Advisors and allocate them to respective residences
- Coordinate and facilitate the training of Residence Advisors
- Monitor and assess and evaluate the programs implemented by the Residences Advisors
- Develop and implement training and social educational programs for residence students
Salary: R231816 to 388116 p.a, plus benefits
