Research Fellow in Tunnels Under Seismic Loading

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced researcher in tunnel behaviour under seismic loading? Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge as part of an international team on a project to develop novel disaster management strategies for tunnels under repeated seismic loading through innovative monitoring?

Shaking Tunnel Vision is a research project funded under the Newton Fund/CONYCIT scheme as a collaboration between the UK and Chile. Led by the University of Leeds, other collaborating institutions are University of Dundee and Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso, Chile. You will conduct independent and original research in the field of seismic behaviour of tunnels or structural engineering reliability analysis, working with data collected from the monitoring system in Chile.
