My client is a small ecological consultancy who has found a huge amount of success in the past 2 years and they need an experienced Principal Ecologist to ensure that their expansion is a success. Therefore, this will be an exciting time to join a business that are open to new ideas and strategies in order to win new work and continue to expand for many years to come.
As well as this, this in an opportunity to build a team around your needs and you will be responsible for choosing who you take on. This is a level of responsibility that other positions in the market aren't able to offer. Not only will you be a pivotal part of expanding a business, you will also be able to carefully build your team one consultant at a time.
With a well established base in Essex, you can choose to work in the established office or stay at home and play a part in choosing the best location for the business to expand into.
Requirements for this position are as follows:
- 8-10 years experience as a Consultant Ecologist
- Class 2 Bat Survey License
- Great Crested Newt Survey License
- Full CIEEM membership
- Previous experience winning new clients and projects
- UK drivers license with your own mode of transport
The salary for this position will range from £40,000-£45,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
