Head of Biology Pharma-State-of-the-art projects

My client is a well known research institution active in the pharmaceutical sector at an international level providing various services in research and development. They work on very interesting drug discovery projects with state-of-the-art equipment for clients worldwide.

I am recruiting for them a Head of Biology that will lead the biology department, managing a group of more than 50 units, ensuring projects are delivered on time supporting the team and supervisors with technical knowledge and promoting innovations within the unit. You will be the point of contact for clients and will manage different projects. This means that, while you will be keeping the hands on interesting and challenging projects without loosing contact with an highly scientific environment, you will be diversifying your job working on various projects and still growing your skills and expertise, working on a new challenge at this stage of your career.

Essential requirements are:

• experience in the Pharma Industry covering a similar role
• experience in managing a group of at least 40 people
• 15 years of experience in the field
• strong scientific track record in drug discovery
• Fluent in English

The position is based in Italy, but you don't need to be from Italy. You have to be eligible to work in the EU.
Salary in negotiable according to experience.
