FMHS Support Services
A position exists in a busy research support unit for an energetic and motivated person to work with animals. This role involves all aspects of animal welfare including breeding, cage cleaning and environmental monitoring. There is a degree of heavy lifting involved requiring a fit and agile person. The ideal applicant will have previous work experience with animals and a good understanding of MPI and Animal welfare regulatory requirements, although applicants with no previous experience will be considered as full training will be given on-site to the successful applicant. Personal attributes include ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team, with great attention to detail and a good sense of humour.
