Quality Director - Medical Devices (Orthopaedics)

One of my good clients in the Tuttlingen area - a small but growing firm who are widely recognised within the orthopaedics industry - is looking for a Senior Quality Management Professional to join their QM function.

This is a brand new position due to expansion plans and growth within this small firm. My client needs someone who can work in QM within the full life-cycle. Tasks can include CAPA, process improvement, QMS, validation, verification, supplier management etc. as well as production projects.

What is most important to my client is the personality of the candidate coming into the business. They are looking for an open personality with a passion for quality and a hands on mentality. Rather that just reporting issues or ticking boxes, this company is really looking for someone who can provide solutions and have a statistical approach in these types of situations. They are also looking for ambitious candidates who can drive the business forward from a Quality management perspective. Since this is a smaller firm, you have the benefit of broad exposure in terms of skills to be gained.

Successful candidates for this position should have:

* 5+ years Quality Assurance experience in the medical devices industry

* Experience in CAPA, process improvement, QMS and Audits etc.

* Experience in Management

* FDA standards experience would be an advantage

* Fluent English and German
