The Southern Universities Network (SUN) comprises a number of higher education providers, further education colleges, schools, and other organisations in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. It is part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) http://www.hefce.ac.uk/sas/ncop/ initiative. The new HEFCE-funded project aims to increase the number of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in Higher Education by 2020.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the SUN central team based at the University of Southampton. The post-holder will report to the SUN Project Manager and will provide comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support to the central team and external stakeholders.
You will possess excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills. You will demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and within relevant policies and procedures. You will be a team player who will relish the challenge of working in a collaborative setting. You will be approachable, well organised and adaptable.
The post is offered on a fixed term basis and the successful candidate will be appointed on a scale between £19,485 - £23,164.
