Job Details
Following recent review and restructure of the International Office, creation of new roles and an injection of significant additional resources, there are now opportunities to apply for great new positions at the University.
Head of International Partnerships and Relations
Collaborative partnerships with overseas institutions and government agencies form a critical part of the University’s internationalisation strategy. These partnerships take a variety of forms, and have their main focus in a variety of areas within the University. The International Partnerships and Relations team provides the vision, access and central coordination to enable colleagues to engage with international opportunities and to provide support for international students engaging with the University through such schemes.
The Head of International Partnerships and Relations provides strategic leadership and direction for the development, implementation and embedding of the Partnerships and Sponsors strategy. Leading a team of partnerships and scholarships specialists, the Head is tasked with embedding an understanding of the institution’s direction and objectives, developing and delivering clear lines of communication to key internal and external stakeholders.
Interviews and presentation
Candidates invited to interview will be asked to present, for no more than seven minutes, and with no visual aids, on the following topic:
“Government and commercial sponsors support undergraduate and postgraduate students at Bristol. How would you go about making the University of Bristol a sponsors’ first choice of university.”
