Job Details
Full time, 35 hours
Based in the Student Education Service, Student Finance (Funding) you will help with the provision of funding information and guidance to prospective and existing students. You will be responsible for dealing with enquiries in writing, over the phone and in person.
A key member of a small busy team you will be responsible for the administration and payment of internally sourced student funding, and for communication with external funding agencies to enable accurate assessment of student awards. The main duties will include the general administration of the Access to Learning Fund by receiving, checking and logging applications prior to assessment and management of the Funding email inbox. You will also be responsible for updating the Student Loans Company (SLC) Courses Management Service using a web based process.
It is essential that you have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills and can work independently to meet tight deadlines. You will be committed to delivering a high level of customer service, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as
working as part of a team.
