The Faculty of Business and Economics seeks a positive and efficient Group Services Administrator with a focus on stakeholder service, to join our Group Services team. You will provide support to academic teaching staff and general administrative support for staff and students within departments as assigned by the Group Services Manager and Team Leader, to support teaching and research activities and assist with academic processes.

You will undertake a range of activities including

  • Administrative  support of Academic Head and teaching staff
  • Canvas teaching programme
  • Timetabling and room bookings
  • Assisting with department-specific events and production of department publications
  • Support and attend committee meetings
  • Undertaking specialist portfolios & responsibilities as assigned by the Group Services Manager


You will need excellent time- and self-management skills, and preferably knowledge of the Canvas system as well as an understanding of University processes. You will share an office with other Group Services staff and there is an emphasis on teamwork and flexibility to accomplish tasks and provide a high level of service.

This is a fulltime permanent position and is based on the city campus.
