Scientific Applications Systems Analyst

Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2-3 support for scientific applications like Empower, ELN, Nugenesis, LIMS, Pipeline Pilot, Spotfire hosted on different operating systems
• Gather requirements from users for enhancements or patches;
• Install application enhancements;
• Perform unit testing;
• Work with software vendors for application troubleshooting;
• Coordinate with other support teams within organization

• Experience with various scientific applications like Empower, ELN, Nugenesis, LIMS, Pipeline Pilot, Spotfire required
• 2+ years’ experience in implementing various scientific applications like Empower, ELN, Nugenesis, LIMS, Pipeline Pilot, Spotfire on Linux or Windows OS
• Good requirements analysis & documentation experience;
• Problem solving and analytical capabilities;
• Ability to deal with and resolve conflicts;
• Previous in-lab experience desired

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Life Science or Technical field
