Head of Business Intelligence

As Head of Business Intelligence, you will take responsibility for leading the business intelligence function for the whole of the national clinical research environment and develop diverse and dynamic initiatives such as the implementation of such strategies as the Open Data Platform and Big Data.

You will provide leadership and strategic direction to the national Business Intelligence function and will be responsible for managing the tools and processes to enable business insight, allowing business leaders across the organisation to have a conversational relationship with data and self-service access to that data from wherever it is required. 

You will report to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will work closely with the CRNCC Executive Team, Senior Management Team and external stakeholders including senior Department of Health colleagues.

It is essential that you have effective communication and organisational skills, an energetic and flexible approach to work and the ability to build robust working relationships with a wide range of professionals.

University Grade 9 (£48,327 - £55,998 p.a) depending upon qualifications and experience.
