Job Details
New Zealand’s leading scholarly publisher is looking for a highly motivated editorial and marketing assistant to join its small and collaborative city-based team. The role provides an opportunity to play a key role in the creation and marketing of the Press’ award-winning list of non-fiction and poetry titles.
Assisting the Production Manager and Marketing and Sales Manager, and working closely with authors, publicists, bookstores and media, the successful candidate will gain experience in many key areas of publishing: copyediting, proofing, copywriting, electronic direct mail, social media, awards and events, etc.
The right candidate will have some publishing training and be highly effective at planning and organising, delivering results, and working collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders.
