Job Details
The School of Mathematics invites applications from academics who have an excellent research record, an aspiration to obtain external research funding and a passion for delivering first-class inspirational teaching and supervision in a top School (in the top 10 in REF2014) in a research-intensive UK University.
As Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching and management within the school, faculty and university and contribute to academic leadership in the field of Pure Mathematics with specific emphasis on Mathematical Analysis.
With a vision and drive to develop a prestigious internationally competitive research portfolio as well as a passion for undertaking research-led teaching you will make a significant impact on the performance, stature and profile of research and student education at the University of Leeds. You will have a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field, a proven record of teaching in a University environment, and outstanding post-doctoral research experience in a relevant subject area.
