School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work
The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work established in 2015, is a new School that has been created as a result of the merging of the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the School of Social Work and Human Services. The School will be a leader in the study of nursing, midwifery, social work and human services, demonstrating excellence through innovative, creative, and dynamic teaching and research, in a vibrant, interdisciplinary, and engaging environment. The School is committed to conducting academic, research and community partnership programs that are recognised for their excellence in contributing to health and well-being in the community.
The role
There are opportunities to teach and supervise at honours and postgraduate level, conduct health economic evaluation and analyse quantitative data collected for the BiOC grant, and contribute to management of the grant.
The person
The successful appointee will have a PhD in the area of maternal child health, and a postgraduate certificate or higher in health economics. You should also have a strong desire to develop a successful and highly-productive research career, good general research skills, a strong methodological background, excellent statistical and analytic skills, very good writing abilities, and the capacity to work with multidisciplinary research teams.

Remuneration
This is a part-time, fixed term appointment at Academic level B. The remuneration package will be in the range $89,458 - $106,232 p.a. (FTE), plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $97,957 - $116,324 p.a.(FTE)).
