Job Details

The Children’s Hospital Service Line is committed to providing state-of-the-art clinical services to children. It imparts high quality undergraduate and postgraduate training as well. It consists of a group of dedicated full-time and part-time faculty. Besides the outpatient clinics, the inpatient set-up consists of a paediatric ward with two units comprising of 84 beds, a dedicated 5-bedded area for paediatric neurology, a neonatal unit with facility of admitting 18 neonates along with ventilator support at a time, a dedicated paediatric ICU and post cardiac ICU and round the clock critical care looked after by fully trained paediatric medical and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • providing safe, competent, inpidualized holistic care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring
  • participating actively in imparting patients / family education and support
  • demonstrating efficiency in use of electronic monitoring equipments.


Requirements

You must have:

  • Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) would be preferred
  • at least two years of work experience in the Medical/Surgical areas
  • valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
  • Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Safe Medication Administration, Aseptic Techniques, I/V Cannulation, Tool Training, Paediatric advance life support (PALS), Neonatology, caring for peadiatric patients and facilitation Course
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work in all shifts (morning, evening & night).
