Job Details

The University of Bristol is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Oral Microbiology. The Microbiology group is co-located with research groups and clinical areas in the Dental School and Hospital, and is in proximity to research groups across the main campus in the University. The Microbiology group is well supported by research technicians, and this opportunity plays a primary part of the ongoing investment in oral microbiology by the School.


Based within the Faculty of Health Sciences, the successful applicant will play a key role in Oral Microbiology research and teaching while also contributing to infection and immunity research across the University. You will be a scientist with a track record of research excellence in bacteriology or mycology and infectious disease with the potential to attract substantial research funding in the future.
