You are arriving at a very exciting time, as we are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join the team within Property Services. The role of Property Services is to provide a leading facilities management, planning and development service to one of Auckland’s largest and most diverse property portfolios.

You will be part of a team of Project Managers working across a portfolio of capital works projects ensuring the successful completion of projects,  the functional requirements of the University are met, and projects are completed on time,  within budget and to specification.

To be considered for this role you will ideally hold a relevant construction industry related tertiary qualification and demonstrate a minimum of 7 years project management experience and a minimum of 5 years PM experience of major and/or complex building projects with a value of $20m plus.    You will be able to demonstrate project management experience of building projects in an owner/operator related environment, combined with previous client representative experience.  Demonstrated skills in project related financial management and reporting will be valuable. Preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in the health and tertiary sector.

With outstanding communication skills, you will build and establish credibility by applying your knowledge and expertise in project management principles.   With a focus on execution and delivery, you will be adept at managing key stakeholders requirements both internally and externally through a project’s lifecycle from the project briefing phase to post-occupancy.  Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in managing multiple user groups and large organisations in major complex projects. Experience in the effective management of consultant teams is essential for this role.
