The Faculty of Accounting and Informatics is committed to ensuring a unique teaching, learning and research environment conducive to the dissemination of real-world education by providing relevant, high-quality business focused education – gearing students for the world of work. This experience inspires them towards relevant applied reseach, continued learning in their careers and participation in research by staff and students is encouraged and supported. Research and innovation is an integral part of the work of the Faculty of Accounting and Informatics. The Faculty has strong and active partnerships with leading Information and Technology companies and Accounting firms.
The Faculty comprises 6 departments:
• Auditing and Taxation
• Information and Corporate Management
• Information and Technology
• Financial Accounting
• Management Accounting
• Finance and Information Management (Midlands Centre).
